Sunday at the Met

Coexist were proud to sponsor a series of lectures and discussions in the margins of the acclaimed Byzantium and Islam Exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on 18th March. An audience of more than 500 people explored issues ranging from the Icons of Sinai, Jews and Samaritans in an age of transition, and the Art of 7th century Jerusalem, followed by a spell binding performance on Jewish, Christian and Muslim musical traditions. Byzantium and Islam: Age of Transition (add link) continues at the met until July 8th.
