Coexist Foundation Home

  • God has given us many faiths but only one world in which to co-exist. May your work help all of us to cherish our commonalities and feel enlarged by our differences.

Faith Leaders Breakfast: Mayor Bloomberg praises

At the Annual New York City Faith Leaders Breakfast in the New York Public Library, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg praised the "Three Faiths" exhibit and encouraged people to go and see it. He stressed the importance of that crucial message underpinning the exhibit and the essential understanding about the shared history of the Abrahamic faiths.

Following his speech, the Library President Paul Leclerc said in his formal remarks that the "Three Faiths" exhibition is the most important exhibit in his 17 years at the Library. The exhibit has broken all previous attendance records to become the most viewed exhibition in the history of the Library. In addition, Leclerc stated that he feels it is also the most important exhibition on religion to come to New York City, as it shows what the faiths have in common, as opposed to focusing on their differences.
