Mosul
Where tensions flare between faith communities, Coexist will engage with local partners to help rebuild trust. In 2008, the ancient Christian community in Mosul, Iraq, suffered attacks that led many to flee. Coexist worked with the International Medical Corps to provide safe places for children to play, to rehabilitate sports facilities, and to run workshops to rebuild confidence and trust.
